We are very privileged to have the opportunity to support our current and future Sixth Formers to develop into the next generation of female leaders across industry and public services. As such it is important we provide them and their families with access to that knowledge they can apply to be a change maker in their futures.
For Students we provide:
Across Form Times in our Weekly First Editions bulletin and in our Afternoon Updates we:
Highlight - The A Level Mindset or VESPA program. This is intended to guide students to a process or approach they can try themselves in extra study and beyond to support more effective study skills, it will usually be in the form of a workable example.
Showcase - Book Club. This is intended to encourage students to engage with exhibit works and artists that will raise their cultural capital and provide greater breadth to their diets, it will usually be a short video contribution linking to wider reading or review articles.
Explore - PiXL Character Program. This is intended to challenge students across a range of topics and questions to reflect individually and or more widely, it will usually be a central contention with the full session available to be considered later in the afternoon.
Current Affairs - Our options on a Friday present a range of activities and are intended to provide a thoughtful or appropriate end to the week for consideration. We also recommend all our students download the Knoweldge App and read it daily.
This is also complemented by our work in Core RE and Core PSHE which aims for:
'All students in Sixth Form can explore profound inquiries and valuable advice for life in 2024 across various disciplines. Delving into the realms of philosophy, theology, ethics and the law this bespoke program encourages students to grapple with complex questions, fostering intellectual growth, increased awareness and spiritual reflection.'

Finishing line
These are designed to achieve behavioural change amongst students. It isn’t enough that students simply understand what they need to do in their study: the challenge in any study skills programme is getting students to use and apply the skills they learn. Elevate’s website is also accessible to students via their Student Portal window and password shared at Year 12 Induction session.
We partner with Russell Group Universities
