The Role of Local Governing Committees (LGCs)

Our Local Governing Committees (LGCs) play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the success of our school. As representatives of our community, parents, and staff, the LGCs work closely with school leadership to ensure high standards in education, wellbeing, and school development. They provide valuable insights, help shape strategic goals, monitor academic progress, and uphold the school’s vision and values. By fostering strong ties between the school and its community, our LGCs are dedicated to creating a positive, enriching environment where every student can thrive.

We currently have vacancies for Foundation Governors on the Local Governing Committee. 

The school can provide advice, support and training, and as a community, our governors are approachable and supportive. We welcome applications from all walks of life and encourage people to apply from all backgrounds to reflect the diversity of our catholic community.
