Careers Programme Information

Welcome to the Careers Programme 2024-2025, thoughtfully designed to serve the needs of our young people, teachers, parents and employers. Our comprehensive programme encompasses Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) along with Work-related Learning (WRL), ensuring that all our pupils and sixth form students, including those with SEND or EAL backgrounds, are equipped to thrive in society as well-qualified and well-informed individuals and members of our community.

Careers Programme

At Coloma Convent School for Girls, our overarching objective is to elevate the aspirations and achievements of all our pupils, providing them with the necessary skills, qualifications, knowledge and presentation abilities to pursue fulfilling careers and lifelong learning opportunities.

Our carefully curated activities and events are delivered with impartiality and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Through collaborative efforts with local employers, further education providers, parents, carers and teachers, we strive to offer a stable programme that effectively addresses the diverse requirements of our student body.

This commitment is embedded in our Provider Access Policy.

Our programme is aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring we meet the highest standards of careers education and guidance as set out in the Government’s 2017 Careers Strategy.
