We are very privileged to have the opportunity to support our current and future Sixth Formers to develop into the next generation of female leaders across industry and public services. As such it is important we provide them and their families with access to that knowledge they can apply to be a change maker in their futures.
For Students we provide:
Across Form Times we produce a weekly bulletin which includes the following sessions:
This is also complemented by our work in Core RE and Core PSHE which aims for:
'All students in Sixth Form can explore profound inquiries and valuable advice for life in 2024 across various disciplines. Delving into the realms of philosophy, theology, ethics and the law this bespoke program encourages students to grapple with complex questions, fostering intellectual growth, increased awareness and spiritual reflection.'
We have also delivered drop down days this year focussed on Women and Girls day which focussed on Womens helath and Violence against Women and Girls.
Boosted by our partnership with Elevate Education as we host their award-winning sessions:
These are designed to achieve behavioural change amongst students. It isn’t enough that students simply understand what they need to do in their study: the challenge in any study skills programme is getting students to use and apply the skills they learn. Elevate’s website is also accessible to students via their Student Portal window and password shared at Year 12 Induction session.
We partner with Russell Group Universities
Newcastle University through their outreach program showcases a wealth of study skills support to aspiring students:

For Families we provide:
We are also privilged to partner with Elevate Education who are our preferred coaching supplier especially across their free parent webinars. Each term these may be of interest to you in support of your daughter. Currently, Coloma is ranked in the top 20% of schools nationally for parental engagement by Elevate Education. Family time and consideration for these events is very much appreciated as we all work to provide a supportive partnership with you to help your daughters secure the very best outcomes this summer and next.
